Nashville, Tennessee
If anything, the past year has shown that people can be highly creative in trying to maintain a semblance of normalcy in a season of life that seems ravaged by change. The summertime and early fall of 2020 offered an olive branch in the form of being able to safely gather outside after a jarring and frustrating spring, and of course bookended with a brutal and lonely winter in our homes. I was so grateful for this warm night with friends spread around on our blankets, some pups, and snacks. We watched the golden sun set, casting a warm glow on the evening and this memory.
