I met Pepper in 2018 when we were both slinging flowers for Amelia's Flower Truck, as it turns out, many artists are also drawn to working with flowers and she and I weren't the only artists working there at the time. Pepper has worked with many mediums over the years, but in 2019 she launched Pepper Palm and creates the most beautiful painted planters and pots for house plants as well as kokedama's, a Japanese planting style of plants being secured in a hanging moss ball. She hired me to photograph a series of hanging planters and I couldn't help but to also shoot her studio and some portraits of her as well. Please be sure to check out her Etsy store!
